Samuel "Tommy Joe" Greer

He was born on September 23, 1946, in Morehouse, MO to the late Clyde and Ollie Taylor Greer.

On December 10, 1965, in Morehouse, MO he married Patsy Lenderman Greer who survives of the home in Morehouse, MO.

He was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Morehouse, MO. He retired from the Scott County Community Shelter Workshop in Sikeston, MO.

Survivors include his wife Patsy of sixty years; one daughter, Kelly (Paul) Barnes of Sikeston, MO; one sister, Dianne Lenderman of Morehouse, MO; three grandchildren, Taylor (Morgan) Barnes, Kyle (Jacqueline) Crumpecker and Conner Greer; three great-grandchildren, Judah Crumpecker, Clara Faye Greer and Kasen Barnes.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Tara Greer, a special brother-in-law and best friend, Harold Lenderman, four brothers, Robert Greer, Donnie Greer, Dickie Greer and Terry Greer, two sisters, Melba Venable and Joyce Tacket and his mother and father-in-law, Trudie and Earl Lenderman.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 13, 2026, from 12:00 noon until time of funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at the Assembly of God Church in Morehouse, MO with Bro. Terry Scott, officiating.
