Sharon Lea Edwards Duncan

She was born on March 30, 1947, in Sikeston, MO, to the late Jack and Virginia Brink Edwards.

On April 24, 1965, she married Huston Dale Duncan, who preceded her in death on November 18, 2008.

She graduated from Morehouse High School in 1965. Sharon was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her greatest joy in life was her family.

She is survived by her mother, Virginia Sue Yerges of Sikeston, MO; her children, Kenny (Stacie) Duncan of Bell Buckle, TN, and Kim Alcorn of Sikeston, MO; her siblings, Stan Yerges of Wisconsin and Susie (Frank) Lawrence Bridgeview, IL.; her grandchildren, Miranda (Ryan) Heath, Ethan Duncan, Kinley Alcorn (Ricky Haynes); her great-grandchildren, Kailor Schaefer, Teagan Haynes, Loralei Haynes, and Joanna Haynes and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, Huston Dale Duncan, she was preceded in death by her father, Jack D. Edwards; her brother, Lacy Edwards, and her sister, Bonnie Edwards.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, MO, followed by a Graveside Service at Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston, MO.
