Sherrill Ann Karnes, 70 of Sikeston died August 31, 2011 at her home. She was born on December 4, 1940 in Sikeston to the late Roscoe and Clara Little Bledsoe. She had worked at Missouri Delta Medical Center for 30 years and had formerly attended Murray Lane Baptist Church in Sikeston. On August 15, 1960 in Morehouse, she married Robert Karnes who survives of the home.
Other survivors include one brother Vernon Bledsoe of Matthews and one sister, Edna Elizabeth Jones of Sikeston. She was preceded in death by one sister Carolyn Ruff.
A private memorial service was held on Wednesday, August 31, 2011. Nunnelee Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
