Shirley Mae Adams

She was born on February 19, 1944, in Morehouse, MO to the late Johnny Hedge and Anna Loren Wader Eaton.

On December 24, 1962, in Morehouse, MO she married Loyd Adams Sr. who preceded her in death on January 17, 2021.

She was a member of Compassion church in Sikeston, MO.

She is survived by one daughter, Tina Sue Adams of Morehouse, MO; two brothers, Sunny Eaton of Morehouse, MO and Johnny Wayne Eaton of Morehouse, MO; two sisters, Sue (James) Goodman of McHenry, IL and Sherri Smith of Sikeston, MO; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Loyd Adams Jr., two brother, Mike Eaton and Jimmy Eaton and one sister, Barbara Elliott.

Visitation will be held on Friday November 7, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, MO with Frank Worthington pastor of Compassion Church in Sikeston, MO.

Interment will follow in the New Essex Cemetery in Essex, MO.

Pallbearers will be Willis Carter, Lee Head, Joseph Head, Danny Carmack,, Gerald Buchanan and Connor Head.
