Shirley Jo Taylor, age 79, of Charleston, died May 4, 2016, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston. Born May 13, 1936, in Scott County, Mo., to the late Clyde and Thelma Mae Beggs Young, she was an area supervisor for Casey General Stores for many years.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Danielle and Clyde Franklin of East Prairie; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Lois Callow of Sikeston and Wilma and Windle Dye of Sikeston; and one granddaughter, Kaytlin Franklin of East Prairie.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Dean Young and Harley Young.
Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 1 p.m. on Friday, May 6, 2016, at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, with Bro. Gene Ditto of East Prairie, officiating.
Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
