Stephen "Steve" Louis Hillman

Stephen was born on July 21, 1951, in Commerce, MO, to William and Rosalie (Burger) Hillman.

He married Jan Jackson Bivens on July 8, 2006.

Stephen worked as a manager at Rose Concrete and later for Union Pacific Railroad until his retirement.

He loved country life and enjoyed traveling, especially exploring the countryside alongside his beloved wife.

Stephen is survived by his loving wife, Jan; his son, Roger (Yong Min); his grandchildren, Christian and Jina; his stepson Tim McIntyre; his seven siblings, their spouses, and their children; as well as many extended family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and six siblings.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, MO. Funeral mass will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Sikeston, MO. Burial will follow at St. Denis Cemetery in Benton, MO.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Sikeston, MO designated for the poor box, or to the American Cancer Society.
