Gwendolyn “Sue” Sutton Razer, 68, of Wappapello, died September 21, 2011, at the Landmark Hospital in Cape Girardeau. Born January 22, 1943, in Sikeston, to the late William and Selma Rushing Sutton, she was employed for many years as a bookkeeper for Hedrick Concrete in Sikeston, and was of Baptist belief. On October 21, 1988, in Doniphan, she was married to Ron Razer, who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one son, Darren (Kim) Launius of Jackson; one daughter, Carla Launius (Christopher) Hildebrand of Paducah; two sisters, Linda Parker of Puxico and Johnnie Hawkins of Austin, TX; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Doyle Sutton and Robert Sutton; and one sister, Lola Mae Giles.
Graveside services will be held at 10:30am on Saturday, September 24, at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston, with Rev. J.D. Smith, pastor of the Full Gospel Tabernacle in Advance, officiating. Nunnelee Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
