
Dr. Theodore Wesley Roberts, 74, of Sikeston, died November 2, 2011, at the Halifax Health Hospice of Volusia/Flagler in Orange City, FL. Born February 16, 1937, in Matthews, to the late William and Dorothy Fern Brundage Roberts, he served in the U.S. Air Force. He was a physician in private practice, and also was affiliated with the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston. He was a 32nd degree Mason, and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Sikeston.
On July 4, 1977, in Longbeach, CA, he married Kathleen Good, who survives of the home.
Also surviving are three sons, Theodore Roberts, Jr., of White Hall, AR, William Roberts and Raymond Roberts, both of St. Louis; one daughter, Jennifer Strecker of St. Louis; one brother, William Roberts of Matthews; and nine grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5:00 until 8:00pm on Thursday at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30am on Friday, November 18, in the Nunnelee Chapel, with Rev. Geoff Posegate, pastor of the First United Methodist Church, officiating.
Burial will follow at Matthews Cemetery.
