Virginia Ogden

Virginia (Jenny) Marie Gaines Ogden, 81, of Jackson, MO. (formerly of Sikeston, MO.) passed to the next life on May 1, 2020 surrounded by her loving family, to go to be with her parents, brothers, and sisters.

Virginia was of the Baptist faith.

Virginia was born March 5, 1939 to the late Dora Allen McDaniels Gaines and Joseph Eugene Gaines.

She is survived by four daughters, Anita (Bob) Evans of Arbyrd, MO., Karen Fowler of Jackson, MO., Cindy (Kevin) Armstrong of Fruitland, MO., and Vickie (Chester) Stroud of Poplar Bluff, MO.; two sons, Joseph Cossey of Bell City, MO., and Jimmy Ogden of Cape Girardeau, MO.; two bonus daughters, Karen Baker and Teresa Cantrell; 17 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by four brothers, six sisters, two grandsons and one great granddaughter.

A Memorial service will be held Saturday May 9, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, MO., with Rev. Raymond Armstrong, officiating.
