Willie "Sue" Brooks
September 9, 1950 – January 11, 2021
Willie “Sue” Brooks, age 70, passed away on January 11, 2021 at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, MO. She was born on September 9, 1950 in Henderson, TN. to the late Robert Lee and Willie Olivia Pack Croom. Sue was a member of Shady Acres Church of Christ in Sikeston, MO. On September 28, 1968 in Chicago, IL. She married Charles “Lee” Brooks who survives of the home in Sikeston, MO. In addition to her husband she is survived by three sons and one daughter-in-law, Chris (Holly) Brooks, Adam Brooks and Robert Brooks; five daughters and three sons-in-law, Nicole (Paul) Johnson, Inger (David) Selvig, Samantha Brooks, Heather (Jerry) Bowman and Brandi Brooks; four brothers, Steve (Ethel) Croom, Stanley (Pamela) Croom, David (Dorothy) Croom and Dennis (Tracy) Croom; two sisters, Lynn (Charles) Howard and Sandra Croom (Ralph Hulsey); fourteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one grandson, Nicholas Johnson. Visitation will be held on Saturday January 16, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at Shady Acres Church of Christ in Sikeston, MO. Johnny Hester, officiating. Private burial will be held at a later date at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, MO. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Paul Johnson, Trey Johnson, Alex Johnson, Daniel Johnson, Blain Johnson, Tyler Selvig, Luke Selvig and Bradley Brooks.
