In the few times I was blessed to be in Papang's presence, I witness how there is enough goodness that can sustain us all.  Thank you, Papang, for the inspiration.

Papang,You'll always be loved, thank you for being a 2nd father to me, Every time I see you I remember my dad. it was so hard about the news but God has the best plan, I know you are celebrating with my dad,and Brother kuya nelson in Heaven, you enjoy worshiping God. You're in the best place now, no more pains,no more sickness,no more worries,you're just enjoying the presence of GOD, always rejoicing and having the feast with our LORD. The Long table full of food and non-stop celebration. thank you for the life you shared to all of us. I am thankful for his encouraging words and the way he expressed his affection, humor, simplicity and most of all his deep faith. It was a privilege to have him as our Ninong for our wedding day 30 years ago. Thanks be to God for his life and his profound influence to many. May God be the source of strength to all of you in your time of grief.

Papang does not know me personally but He knew my Tito Leopoldo Tiglao who is also now with the Lord. I am sure He knew my father Jesus Sabado and my mother Magdalena Tiglao who are also in heaven. I know Papang was one of the faithful members of the Village United Methodist Church at Pugad Lawin Drive.

We are very happy and privilege to see and mingle with Uncle Ading in person, who a month ago attended DadMom's 50th Golden Wedding Anniversary. GOD is so great to make it possible for us (the whole clan here in Manila) to have that very rare opportunity  that proved to be our one last chance.

Psalm 86:10 - "You are great, and do wondrous things, You alone are God."
My heart sings out to a Great and Awesome God! Only God is truly great - great enough to meet all our needs, great enough to forgive all our sins, and great enough to carry us through the dark valley of death into eternity, to be with Him forever.

We will miss you Uncle Ading.

To Auntie Gening, cousins and nephews ... may our Heavenly Father's presence surround you and be your strength and peace.

Today it was a deep honor to be with you, the Castillo family, in celebrating the Beautiful Life of Adriano Salveron Castillo.  It is clear that you carry the legacy of his character in your lives. My prayers continue beyond today, that each of you will experience the consolation of the Comforter and the compassionate presence of  Christ.

Dearest Mamang, Aurean and family,
I am so sad to know today of  Papang's passing May 19th. On my way to the memorial service, the one thing I could think of was that Papang was a beautiful person to know. As I listened to Romel's narrative of Papang's life, Ryan's and Papang's brother's memories and anecdotes, there was much that I did not know about him, But my brief encounters and conversations with Papang  had already impressed upon me on what a beautiful person he was. I am so glad to have known him and will cherish my memories of him. Today's Memorial Service was the most beautiful and fitting for a truly beautiful and unique person, our Beloved Papang.

Papang is the most gentle ,generous and beautiful person I've meet .so loving to family and friends . I admire him for his dedication n care he's giving to  Mamang , he's an inspiration to our marriage .Most fondest memory I have with Papang  is him texting an asking if we are ok n just checking on us , such a loving man , quick to give his sweet smile evrytime you meet him.A man of dignity n wisdom ...Papang we will surely missed you ,but we are at peace knowing you are in heaven where there is no pain n sorrow ,but full of Joy n happiness with our creator. We love you Papang and we keep n treasure all the beautiful memories.

The only chance I've got to meeting Lolo Ading when I was already a grown up was way back in 2011 when Lolo visited Aklan. Unfortunately, I was away from home during that time to attend university and so I missed the chance.

However, Lolo and I frequently exchange messages through email or facebook. Usually, he would ask about our condition, tell us about Lola Gening, encourage me to pursue my dreams and remind me to take care of everyone in the family especially my Nana Epion, Papa and Mama. 

It broke my heart when I found out about Lolo Ading's passing. I will miss his encouraging messages and cheerful greetings; his thoughtfulness and his never ending way of showing his love and concern for everyone. 

In a way, Lolo Ading was like my guardian from far away, and I am grateful for the chance of knowing him more even though it was just through emails. We love you so much Lolo and we will miss you greatly!

To Lola Gening and family, we may not be there with you during this time of sorrow, but you are in our every thoughts and prayers. We love you dearly.

Tay Ading is very close to our family..he was the architect of our ancestral home in Quezon City...mom was really affected by his passing...during our younger years, our respective families would enjoy being together esp. during the Christmas season...Uncle, you will be missed but we are happy to know that you are now at peace and in God's loving arms...Hugs to Auntie G'ning and cousins...we look forward to see each other anytime soon....Dave Castillo Militar

PAPANG is a great architect, good provider and Super SWEET. Lagi nya kinukwento yung love story nila ni Mamang at halatang- halata na sya mismo yung kinikilig sabay kiss kay Mamang. I'm so blessed and thankful na naalagaan ko si Papang kahit sandali lang.

Papang was not my biological father but he and his family allowed me to call him that, one of the greatest blessings i was shared with in this life.  Papang, along with Mamang and their family welcomed me into their home and treated me like their own son. This is one of the most amazing gifts GOD has blessed me with, to have a family apart from my own family and i am grateful for that.

Papang, the architect that he was, was even there for me when i was doing my exhibit as part of my program to be able to finish my under graduate studies in Interior Design at the University of the Philippines. Unbeknownst to everyone, he was having a vacation in Manila when this was happening and he was there to check my perspective drawing for the exhibit...in the end, he almost drafted the whole plan because it was out of perspective (yikes!). This is one of the many anecdotes about this loving father, husband, uncle, who willingly and selflessly shared himself with everyone. I have one memory of Papang from more than three decades ago: he had a habit of boldly and joyfully reading bible verses aloud. It is rare for a family to have such a devoted and humble spiritual leader, but the Castillo household was blessed with such a man. As we celebrate his life and entry into His kingdom, our thoughts are with his loved ones, especially Mamang. May you all find comfort in Papang's steadfast love, and find peace through the grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

In loving memory of a wonderful person.  I will never forget our conversations through text and over the phone.   I always admired his thoughtfulness.  Although far in distance, he always remembered to call on my birthday and the holidays.   He will truly be missed.  We will cherish the memories forever.
