Alice Theresa O'Dea Humphries Silver Spring, MD - Passed away peacefully on Tues Feb 2, 2016. She was a native Washingtonian and grew up in "the O'Dea House" now on the MD Historical Register. Beloved wife of the late Harrison B. Humphries. Loving mother of Joseph, Harry, James, Catherine, Maria, Linda and the late Laura Anne and Cecelia. Grandmother of Donald, Theresa, David, Stephen, Jesse, Jarrett, Jamie, Mark. Great Grandmother of Lancelot and Evangeline. Former Secretary at the University of Maryland College of Human Ecology. Former Prefect of St. Michael the Archangel Sodality and Docent at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception. Member of the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians and the Maryknights Rosensteel Council. Viewing will be at Hines Rinaldi Funeral Home at 11800 New Hampshire Avenue Silver Spring, MD 20904, on Sunday Feb 7 from 2-4 pm. Funeral Mass to be held Feb 8 at 10 am at St. John the Baptist Church, 12319 New Hampshire Avenue Silver Spring, MD.
