You kept popping up sending me reminders that you are still with me! I miss you no doubt! I wish you were still here!! Can you do me a favor and visit me again and pass on your recipe for your amazing Au Gratin potatoes and corn pudding!!  I know you can see clearly now and its a bright bright day for you every day!! You were always there for me. You always made sure I was happy. You spoiled me rotten and I cherish every moment. I remember being with you at Gibbs Ave wearing my rubber boots helping you tend to the yard.  You always showed me nothing but the greatest love. I knew whenever we turned on to Roxanna Rd. you would be outside on the front steps waiting and smiling.
I knew one day you would spread your wings and fly, I just wasn't ready for you to go.
I miss your voice, your "Hey Baby" let me know everything is okay!!

I know you are watching over me and I am very happy about that. I am a man now and I intend to keep you smiling.

Mom,
 today I realize no matter what I do to move on from this pain deep down inside, losing you has changed my life forever. I will love and miss you with all my heart💔

These are the words presented by baby brother Danny at the service.  They came straight from his hear.  Mom, are you listening?

"Her Journey was a long one.  She lived a full life.  She had a career, raised a family, took vacations - all the things one could wish for in this life.  Above all she loved.  Me....You...  Everyone she encountered she gave love.

Her journey is over now, her burdens lifted.  She is at peace.  But she is not gone.   She is with us now, comforting those of you crying, reminding the rest of us of all the good times we shared.  And there were a bunch!!

We can't see her or touch her anymore, but she can still touch us.  I did the math - at 2 miles a day, Mom traveled 63,510 miles in her lifetime.  That's more than twice around the planet.  Her journey is done.  We should all be as well traveled."

We really wanted to add some of the lovely cards and messages given to the family by many.  We wanted them to become a part of the Memory Book. But because of the copyright issue, all we can do is keep them to ourselves.  

The best years of my time with mom was these past 3 when she stopped worrying about bills and chores and started to enjoy us.  There was more laughter than tears.  More joy than frustration.  Through the fog of her illness she would still pour out words of wisdom and encouragement. 



Alma, my prayers go out to you and to all of your family in the loss of your precious mom.  I know that she meant the world to you and that you were very close.  Recalling the trips you would take together, you shared what a joy it was!  I know you will always cherish those special times and the beautiful everyday love that you shared. Though your heart is broken and hurting, I pray that Christ will grant you amazing strength and comfort.  May wonderful memories warm your heart, bring a smile, laughter and cheer, when you reflect on all the good days and the lifetime of love experienced in a legacy that lives on.

Mrs. Renee, I have many fond memories of you back when I use to admire you with your high heel shoes, you were always a fashionista even before there was a word.  I am so thankful that Alma shared you with me and I will never forget the flower arrangements you so beautifully made for me and most of all when you came to my wedding in Cancun.  You were my special guest.  I will always have special memories of you. God Bless you and rest peacefully my Friend.

I love you nana. I looked forward to the days when I was younger and I’d hop on the bus and rush to your house after school. Watching tv in the den with you way too late, or driving with you and going shopping. Some of my fondest and most happiest memories are with you nana. I know you’re resting easy now. Thank you for being the best grandmother in the world. I love you. 

I am so sorry for the loss of your mother.  I wish I could safely be there with you and your family at this time. You always spoke so fondly of your mother that I felt like I knew her. I know she means so much to you. You are in my thoughts, and I am  praying for your family. 

 I'm so happy we were able to spend some time with you a few months ago when we came to visit. I didn't see you much over the years but I always looked forward to seeing that beautiful smiling face of yours whenever the family came together.  As a child, I remember going to the family reunion and waiting for you to show up with that corn pudding (BEST THING EVER!)  I remember playing in your long pretty hair too!  Most of all I remember your warm hugs and kisses.  You were so loved and will be missed. Rest in Heaven Aunt Renee.  We love you. 🌹 

My honeymom was more than just my great grandma she was my best friend in the whole world. She always made me laugh and smile every time we were together, even when i think of her now I can’t help but smile. I will forever and always love you honeymom rest easy I’ll see u later❤️💔❤️

I have way too many memories to narrow it down to one or two.  The bond we shared and the love I have can not be expressed by mere words.  Together we laughed, loved and cried,  and you taught me to be strong and rely only on myself.  My only regret is you didn't get to see how well I am doing now after all we had been through.  Thank you for EVERYTHING thank you for your affection, your attention, your wisdom, your strength, your compassion, and and last but certainly not least, your LOVE.  I am comforted by the fact that another Angel is watching over me.

I was given the honor and privilege of spending quite a bit of time with Ms. Reen during her time in Hollister. I will forever cherish those days of sitting on the porch, watching Hallmark movies, cooking fried apples and laughing with her. My heart is with you.
