Angeline Suveena Sathyasheelappa was born in Mangalore, India on September 2, 1965. She was the eldest child of Jayaraj and Ruth Sathyasheelappa. In 1968, the family moved from India to Maryland where Angeline attended Sligo Seventh-day Adventist School, Takoma Academy and Columbia Union College.
After attending CUC, Angeline started her career working for GEICO Insurance. From there, she moved on to the legal field, working as a legal assistant and document specialist in some of Washington, DC’s most prestigious patent and trademark law firms.
Even though she never had children of her own, Angeline very much adored the children of her various cousins, whom she lovingly showered with gifts. She especially cherished her long-time friend, Alicia Bautista's children, Anthony and Jonathan.
Angeline was an avid reader, often finishing books in one day. She also enjoyed vintage television shows from the 60s and 70s. Angeline also loved to watch cooking shows on TV and online, often trying out new recipes for her brother, Vinaya.
Angeline had a smile that would light up a room. She was extremely intelligent and witty. All who knew her, were touched by her never-ending generosity, her warm personality, and bright soul.
Angeline is survived by her brother, Vinaya and her cousin Daisy Jayaraj, who lived with them for a long time and helped care for her. She also leaves behind many loved ones, including uncles, aunts, and a host of cousins and dear friends.
