Hello to the Coppa family: it’s always a pleasure to remember someone with the qualities that Tony always shared with all the
Friends he had at WUSA tv. He will always be remembered for his 
Outstanding values and especially his generosity and kindness .
I believe he never knew how to say NO!  Always I’ll see what I can do .

Tony was without a doubt the most responsible individual, and always helpful to everyone needs ! He will live in all the channel 9
lives both current and past. His values will be remembered by all
the individuals he worked with and shared his many talents to make us all accomplished in what needed to be done . Tony was more than anything a friend to the entire channel 9 staff. He was a One and Only for sure .

TONY WAS MY COUSIN AND WE SPENT MANY GOOD TIMES AT NORTH BEACH ON WEEKENDS. CRABBING AND FISHING.
HE WAS A GREAT GUY AND A SUPER FRIEND. HIS SISTER AGGIE WAS THE LOCAL DIVING CHAMP AT THE POOL.  WE ARE ONLY MONTHS APART AT BIRTH. 


Tony  was a co-captain of the  high school football team at Coolidge High School in Washington D.C.  He was a great  player.  I know because I was the other co-captain.

I was so saddened to hear of the loss of your father.  I know this is a very sad and difficult time for you and your family.  You have my very deepest sympathy.  I will keep you and your family close in my thoughts and prayers in the coming weeks as you are going through this difficult transition.

Tony was a good friend for many years, and I shall miss him, but then I thought, he will always be with me. To the Coppa family thank you for sharing him. Stay safe

Dear Ginny, Mike and family, 

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Tony.    My deepest sympathies to all of you.   I remember first meeting Tony when Mike began playing football at St John the Baptist.    Tony was always there for practices and games, which carried over to Springbrook and Salsibury.   

Tony was one of the good guys!   I have many fond memories of Ocean City visits with all of you in days past, the laughter he had and the smile.   It was very cool to reunite with both Tony and Ginny at the Wednesday night bowling league just recently.    

My thoughts and prayers are with you.

To the family and many friends of Tony (Anthony) Coppa. With my deepest sympathy and wonderful thoughts and memories of Tony at Channel 9, he was always the most wonderful person and always doing anything he could to be helpful to make everyone and everything better! I am very proud to have known him and privileged to have been a friend of his. He will always be very special  to me. He was the heart of Channel 9 and the pulse of the station. Everyone who knew him admired his outstanding values. Channel 9 was the best because people like Tony shared themselves to make that station special; and we became a team. A group of individuals working and thinking about what they could do together to be better each day!
