with cancer. Barbara was born to Harry and Marion Monroe on June 6, 1947.
She is survived by her daughter Tracey David, cousins, and family friends.
She worked for the National Institute of Health (NIH) for 42 years.
A visitation will be held at Hines-Rinaldi Funeral Home, located at
11800 New Hampshire Avenue, Silver Spring, Maryland, 20904,
on February 15, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
The funeral service will take place at the same venue on February 16, 2026,
from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
The committal service will follow at Parklawn Memorial Park,
12800 Veirs Mill Road, Rockville, Maryland, 20853, from 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm.
