

Calvin Jia-Xing Li ( 李 佳 信 ) was born in Ithaca, New York, on May 6 of 1997 to Paul and Ingrid Li. His Chinese name Jia-Xing means "good faith". He lived in Ithaca for three-years, then moved with his family to Allentown Pennsylvania, and finally settled in in Rockville Maryland in 2003. He went to Lakewood Elementary School, Robert Frost Middle School, and graduated from Thomas Wootton High School in 2015. He attended the First Ithaca Chinese Christian Church, Chinese Christian Church in Allentown, and the Chinese Bible Church of Maryland. Calvin is a loving and caring person. He is faithful and dedicated to his friends. He is smart and has amazing memory and athletic skills. In the elementary school and middle school, he loved to play basketball, and played in many recreational leagues. Later he fell in love with football, and started to play in the Rockville Football League at age of 14. When he entered high school, he played in Junior Varsity and Varsity as a wide receiver for the Wooton High School team. Calvin also loves to ski and is an amazing skier. He learned skiing on his own, and was once invited to be ski instructor at the Whitetail Resort. Calvin believes in God and loves the Lord. He grew up in churches, and learned to fear the Lord. Calvin Jia-Xin Li departed on June 25 2015 around 11:50 pm to be with his Creator. He is survived by four grandparents, three uncles, four cousins, all of whom are living in China, and his parents Paul and Ingrid, and sister Christin, living here in the US.
