Camille "Mama" Romano

Camille was born December 15, 1926 in Egypt. A loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Camille was preceded in death by her beloved husband of over 60 years, Victor Romano. Survivors include two daughters, Frieda Bufano, Arlette Romano and three sons, Albert Romano, Gabe Romano, and Jack Romano; 9 grandchildren, Philip Bufano, Lauren Romano, Cami Bufano, Page Bufano, Stephanie Romano, Scott Cicero, Ari Romano, Rachel Romano, Robbie Romano; 1 great-grandchild, Logan Bufano; and extended family and close friends, Cathy Romano, Cindy Romano, Ruly Arifin, Valentina Romano, Lee Romano, Marty Bufano, and Felipe Navas.

Camille worked as a professional Seamstress in Egypt before she came to America in 1970, settling first in Alexandria, VA and then moved to Burtonsville, MD to raise her 5 children who are all blessed because of her strong love and devotion. Camille enjoyed cooking, sewing, spending time with her family and hosting big holiday celebrations. One of her hobbies was spending time at the casinos playing her favorite slot machines. She also loved doing her sudoku puzzles and watching Spanish soap operas and game shows.

A private funeral service will be held at Judean Memorial Gardens on Monday, February 14, 2022.
