To Mary, Dina and the entire D'Avella family.  You have my deepest sympathy and prayers as you go through the loss of your love one.  May God comfort you and give you the strength that will surpass your understanding.  Thank God for the great memories that will live on. Death is never easy but we know that Mr. Clement is in a better place where there is no more pain and suffering but everlasting peace and joy!!!!! No word can express the sadness in our hearts for the loss of My Daughter's grandfather. He was a wonderful grandfather and Father-in-Law. The smile on his face when he saw his granddaughter Jessica was the best.  He was very love and will be missed dearly.

No words can express my sadness for the loss of my Daughter's Grandfather. He  was the Best Grandfather a little girl could ever ask for, he was very loving and so happy to see her when they spent time together and she was one of his most loves of his life.  And he was also a wonderful Father-in-Law.  You'll never be forgotten.

Clem taught me everything I know about sales and the music business. He had faith in me and promoted me several times.  He was funny and delightful as well as being a demanding supervisor. Remembering his question of "What have you done to drive the business today"? Still makes me smile. Some of my happiest years were working at JKM and with Clem.  Recently when I visited him, he always just lit up and enjoyed talking about the business.  I will miss you Clem, you were a great friend and mentor.

I met Clement D'Avella in 1983 and I believe was the most knowledgeable person about the music business I ever met. I learned no matter where you come from , if you give every one a fair chance, you can make it. Thanks Clem for giving me that chance.

I first met Clem in 1984 when he interviewed and hired me at Jordan Kitts Music. He taught me so much over the many years that we worked together. He was one of my mentors both in business and and in life. He had such an impact on so many people and I will miss him greatly.

I worked with Clem at JKM for 7 years... Loved his sense of humor.... always called me Marguerite after the famous opera singer because my last name was Piazza like hers....  I always answered...  Great man, great spirit.... God took him on my birthday.... I will never forget him....may he rest in peace....

My mentor, my boss sometimes, my friend always.  Kind, generous, patient with a young woman learning the business. I hope he would be proud of  the salesperson I was then and am now.  Will be missed and loved forever.

Be comforted in knowing that God is with you during this difficult time and 
that there are friends that also share your sorrow with you. I find Psalm 
121 to be very comforting during these times.

THE MEASURE OF A MAN: Not - "how did he die" But - "how did he live" Not - "what did he gain" But - "what did he give". Our friend and mentor gave a lot beyond what was required of any man. Always smiling and encouraging. I never heard the man utter an unkind word. Our 37 years together at Jordan Kitt's will never be forgotten. Thank you Clem. Rest in Peace. May God bless you and may your family find comfort in the wonderful memories you shared with them.

Clement D'Avella was a great father, husband and friend. He will be missed dearly. My condolences go out to ?his family and friends.

I worked at Jordan Kitts with Clem for many years, I was only 17 when I started but he always said I was 17 going on 40. He was a great man and very special to me.
