David A. Greene
October 1, 1963 – November 1, 2019
David Andy Greene was born on October 1, 1963 in Scarborough, Tobago, West Indies. He was the son of William Greene and Yvonne Wilson Greene Crichlow and stepson of Dr. Philmore Crichlow. He attended Scarborough Roman Catholic School, Bishop’s High School in Tobago, and went on to graduate from Walt Whitman High School in Bethesda, MD. He completed his undergraduate degree in Applied Math, at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA and his master’s degree in Applied Math at Hampton University in Hampton, VA. He was also pursuing a PhD in Black Studies at Howard University.
David’s career as a mathematician, actuarial scientist, and human resource executive was indeed an illustrious one. It spanned both the private and public sectors with positions at Price Waterhouse Coopers, PRM Consulting, Drexel University, NRECA, Howard University, and George Washington University, to name a few.
David leaves behind his wife, children, parents, siblings, parents-in-law, siblings-in-law, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many other cherished loved ones and friends.
David’s memorial will take place at the Hines-Rinaldi Funeral Home, 11800 New Hampshire Ave., Silver Spring, MD 20904 on November 16, 2019 at 11am.
