He was born on April 2, 1972 in Mexico City, Mexico. He was diagnosed with Tetralogy of Fallot at a young age and lived with pulmonary hypertension and poorly oxygenated blood for all of his life.
In spite of his condition, David always strived to live a fulfilling life, he always set his goals and wouldn’t let his condition stop him from accomplishing them. He always challenged himself and wanted to have something to call his own; he was driven and was very proud of his accomplishments! He always shared on his success with those whom he loved most. He gave unconditionally, whether it was money, affection, and most importantly, his time.
He developed a love for photography and scenic views; he captured them all so perfectly. David loved to eat, loved to travel and brought many smiles to those that were a part of his life, whether it was at home and with family, at church, with friends, or his workplace. He didn’t hold back and in true David fashion, he spoiled all of his nieces, and nephew, here and abroad, human and four-legged.
David is amazing in his own way; and just like his lifelong illness, he is perfectly unique. He is now free, no more pain, no more heartache, no more medicine, no more procedures, no more doctor appointments or ER visits. You are now free, we love you, we are proud of all you’ve ever done and were able to accomplish. And while you’re no longer physically with us, we carry you in our hearts, in our minds, and in our love.
We’ll see you again!
