Dorothy Ann Weakley

Dorothy passed unexpectedly at the end ofa road trip to visit family. She enjoyed traveling all of her life and was surrounded by family at her passing on April 24, 2026.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Clifford Ellis Weakley and by their daughter Barbara Sue Weakley. She is survived by her son Gary Ellis Weakley and his wife Sherry. Also by daughters Nancy Lee Webb and her husband Ed, Vicky Ann Gallagher (husband Dennis deceased), and Kelley Ann Shumaker and her husband Nathan as well as nine grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren. A late pleasure was holding each of her two great, great grandchildren.

Spending time with family and friends was the great joy of her life especially at her home on the Shenandoah River in Luray, Virginia. She also loved to play Hand and Foot and was a puzzle wizard.

All services are scheduled at Hines-Rinaldi Funeral Home in Silver Spring, Maryland. Visiting hours are scheduled on Sunday, May 3 from 4-6:00 PM and at 10:00 AM on May 4 prior to a funeral service at 11:00 AM.

Following a graveside service at Union Cemetery in Burtonsville, Maryland, all friends and family are invited to gather at the home of Nancy and Ed Webb at 6284 Linkythorn Lane, Clarksville, Maryland for lunch and visiting
