Dwaine Butler

Dwaine Decray Butler, age 54 passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2024.He was born January 15, 1970 to Elizabeth Butler and David Belton in Paterson, NJ. Dwaine or Popeye as he was fondly called by friends and family. He relocated to Prince George's County, MD. He graduated from Friendly High School in 1989.

Dwaine leaves to cherish his lovely memories, his daughters Courtney Knight (Washington,DC), Armani Swann (P.G. County, MD) and lastly his son, Timothy Swann. He leaves a total of 5 grandchildren , 3 brothers, Chondale 'Ronnie' Butler (Washington,DC), Shawn David Belton (Charlotte,NC) and David Anthony Butler (Houston,TX); 3 sisters, Tia Simone Belton (Paterson, NJ), Charlissa Nicole Washington (Bowie, MD) and Terra Butler (Myrtle Beach, SC). A host of nieces/grand and nephews, a host of aunts, uncles and cousins that will truly miss your laughter as well as his special friend, Tanya Veney.

Dwaine loved his family, fishing, classic cars and the Dallas Cowboys.

A visitation for Dwaine will be held Sunday, November 17, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Hines-Rinaldi Funeral Home, 11800 New Hampshire Avenue, Silver Spring, Maryland 20904, followed by a celebration of life memorial service at 12:00 PM.
