I am truly sorry to hear of Earl's passing.
We worked in the same office together for many years.  I always enjoyed Earl's  company. 
I lost track of him after his retirement and it wasn't until several
years ago, we were exchanging emails.
Please accept my condolences.

Mr. Angus was a most wonderful professional.  When I was a very young Collection Management Officer at the NSA,  in my mid twenties, he treated me like an equal and helped me learn the ropes even though I worked through another office. It’s hard to find the words to say. You were such a wonderful man. I loved hearing your stories and seeing you for all the holidays! I will miss you so much! I know you are in a better place now as an angel looking down on all of us!

102 yrs. old, what an amazing life. We are going to miss your stories. Wish we could have visited you once more. It was so nice of you to let Mary stay at your home when she was searching for employment in the D.C. area.  Our prayers are with you Earl and your family.

We were honored to know Earl Angus, he was always in good spirits when we saw him, and just plain adorable!  We found out so much more about him at his 100th birthday party, what a career he had! He will be missed, in particular on all the special occasions and holidays.

So hard to say good-bye to this brilliant and sweet man. He is my cousin and FaceTimed me every day. He had a brilliant Career at NSA after serving in the Navy during WWII. He loved to read and talk about the war. I learned so much from him. Once, when he was 99 he told me he was going to write a book!! He was worried that he might get in trouble because he knew a lot of secrets!! I wish he would have written it! I will surely miss those daily phone calls and the way his face would light up when I answered and we could see each other. Rest in Peace dear cousin. You are loved and missed.

We hope to tell a story of how wonderful a human being can be and it really does matter the character of a man, his kindness, his love and warmth, his beliefs and his faith. We know that Earl Angus was a WWII veteran, fought in 3 wars, part of the greatest generation, a family man, a true believer in people and a person who never spoke ill of others.

Earl was all of that and more to our family. He brought a remarkable sense of humor, a kind gentleness and deep belief that the sun really will come out tomorrow. Earl attended dance recitals, graduations, birthdays dinners, dinners most nights and every holiday but Thanksgiving was his favorite. He loved Christmas and my xmas decorations. Redskin’s football was a favorite and so were the snacks. He enjoyed good food and big belly laughs.

Dinners reminded me of Mayberry RFD with Helen and Earl playing cards and them arguing whose turn it was! He loved telling stories at the dinner table. So many incredible tales like Bonnie and Clyde! He and his brothers had a really hard life - not wanted by their Mother or Father. All were literally threw them out at 9 or 10! They went to work for families as farm hands but they bounced back and made their mark in life.

Earl was inspiring, tough, and a Mason! He never bragged except to tell Helen that he was a very eligible bachelor and he could treat her well. The twinkle in his eyes was very funny and Helen rolled her eyes.

Earl practiced his faith everyday especially with people. He let everyone in his house. He bought magazines, contract services, and gave donations. He commented they have to eat too!

I often thought that Earl could be my Dad as he was everything a daughter could ask for and more. He loved Doug always worried he worked too much. The last year was incredibly hard but he is with God - his wife Virginia and their dog Annie! They say Angels walk us among and we know that to be true as we loved one!

I have known Mr Angus since I was born in 1969 and I lived across the street from him. He and Mrs. Angus were wonderful to me and my daughter Gabrielle. He will be sorely missed. 

I met her when he live Two Doors Down and we used to play chess together hang out and talk about old times in the military he was the happiest man I ever met he was full of memories I'm full of tears he will be missed deeply hey God be with him

Not many people get to see their grandparent make it to 102 years old, but we're lucky that you were such a fighter and that you truly loved life. You showed me that family doesn't have to be blood and you were such an amazing grandfather in my life.

I'm amazed by how kind and welcoming you were, even to strangers that crossed your path. You were an open book with so many interesting stories to tell, from your times in the war to the wild people you met along the way.

I will truly miss making you tea for Sunday dinners, seeing you all dressed up and excited for the holidays, and watching you pick up Grandma for your Friday date nights. I'll never forget seeing you sneak chicken under the dinner table to Lucky or handing you a beer and some snacks to watch the Skins game.

I will always cherish the many years we had with you and I'm so grateful we got to see you one last time. RIP you kind-hearted, sweet man. Enjoy all the steak and potatoes you can get and I'm sure you're sharing some with Luck. I love you Uncle Earl ❤
