

May 30, 2021 with loved ones. She was the wife of surviving spouse James L. Champion; mother of Cynthia Renee Champion; and grandmother to Jonathan and Kyle Isolato. She is survived by her sister, Martha Kassees and brother Charles Cadoura and his wife Terry. She also leaves behind her three nieces, Carla and Christina Cadoura and Tammy Havey.
Born in Jacksonville, FL on December 21, 1946 to Mousa and Eleanor Cadoura, she graduated from Jacksonville University and began working for the Census Bureau in Suitland, MD. She left government service to teach algebra at Fletcher High School for one year before continuing her work at the Census. She worked in both the Construction and Manufacturing Divisions. She rose to be a manager and specialized in productivity data that is a key indicator of the health of the American economy. She retired from government service after 32 years.
In retirement she made ceramic dolls. She also began collecting dolls and became a member of the United Federation of Doll Collectors (UFDC). She worked in a number of positions and became national president for 2 years. She also worked with and traveled to a number of regional and local doll clubs affiliated with the UFDC to gain new membership, provide educational programs, and coordinate the buying and selling of dolls. She acquired a number of cherished friends in working with the UFDC.
