This is such a great loss not only to Ronnie and the rest of her family but to her neighbors as well. Florence was a warm and loving friend. She would take care of our horses and or dogs when we went on a trip and of course never want anything in return. When the twins were born she was absolutely amazed at how I managed to carry both of them at the same time. She said she needed a buddy for QB when she had to put her other horse down so she borrowed one of mine with the understanding that she would return her when she bought another horse. Well, she never had to buy another horse because Poppy had such a great home with Florence she stayed there the rest of her years. She was such an animal lover, always checking out who owned the stray cats she would find in her barn and then would wind up taking care of them herself. Not a bad bone in her, always pouring out love and understanding. She will certainly be missed. Rest in Peace dear friend.

I just learned of Florence's death today. This is a complete shock. Florence and I met many years ago when we were in our twenties and working at Pfizer Medical Systems in Columbia, and then went on to work at ASC in Rockville together and we carpooled for many years. We shared a love of horses and dogs, an aversion to some of the managers we worked for, we enjoyed shopping together, good food, and good times. So many memories shared over so many years. Horse shows, crabbing, shopping expeditions, having to stop and turn around when we were on our way to work because she wasn't sure that she remembered to turn the iron off, first aid training at Pfizer, having to watch Phil draw a 'perfect circle' on the white board at work, going to a photography exhibition of a friend in Frederick, helping each other write annual evaluations for people we supervised, so many memories...
I miss you my friend and you will always be in my memory.

I met Florence at exercise class. We would go for coffee afterward . Always had a smile . She was the kindest person who loved her horses and cats. She will be missed. Sending prayers to her family.

Floence was a kind, dear, funny and loving person. We shared our love of horses over many years. There just isn't a more genuine person. She will be missed terribly.

We are sending lots of love to Ronnie from Florida. Florence Mae was always so great to our family. My kids LOVED her so much and she would always make time to come see us when we would come to Maryland. I cant thank her enough for being so great to my mom and grandmother when they were in Maryland.

We love you Florence Mae. Miss you so much already.

We will miss Florence, I've known Florence for many years. You see, she married my brother Ronnie. I've known Florence since I was 14 years old. When my brother joined the Army, we traveled together to visit him. Fort Dicks was our first adventure. Then we kicked it up a notch in N.C, Fort Bragg. Remember her blue convertible! She loved it. We have all grown up together over the years. Florence has given me great advice on many topics. I am hearing her advice now, give it some thought, she would say. She was strong, that's for sure. I don't ever remember her without a smile. We miss her. I'm sorry this happened so sudden. It wasn't in the plan. Love always, Terri

Florence was my dear gym friend and coffee buddy. She was one of a kind as far as generosity. Her love of family, her cats and of horses was amazing. She will always be missed. My sympathy to Ron, her family, Lindsay and Kara.

I met Florence through my son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Kara, some years ago. A more pleasant and generous woman would be hard to find.
My heart goes out to Ronnie and her other family and friends. God bless.

I’m so sorry to hear about the passing of Florence. I had the pleasure of working with her at Henry Schein. We didn’t sit near each other but at the end of the day we were usually leaving at the same time and we would stand and chat. She was a wonderful person with a warm smile and a great sense of humor.

Florence had a terrific sense of humor, loved her horses and liked to try new things. I worked with Florence at Henry Schein and am so sorry to hear about her unexpected passing. Sending comforting thoughts to her husband, friends and relatives from a fellow Libra.
