Gary had a kind and generous spirit, an extremely dry sense of humor and was intellectually curious. He was deeply devoted to his loving wife, Gail and his cherished dog, Simon.
Gary was passionate about his work. Before his retirement, he spent many years advocating for people with developmental disabilities, whose voices were rarely heard. He focused on encouraging them to believe in themselves and then supported their way forward.
He leaves behind his wife, Gail Winston, his siblings Scott Donaldson and Cathy Pereira (Joe), and seven nieces and nephews: Melanie, Stephanie, Laura, Elizabeth, Jillian, Hannah, Christopher and Andrew. He was predeceased by his sister Susan Leddy.
Gary touched many people and will be fondly remembered. We say farewell with much sadness and gratitude for all he gave us.
