Beloved husband of the late Helen Geralis Stathopoulos; father of Peter (Linda) Stathopoulos, Patricia, Diana (Martin) Laco and James (Kimberley Hamburg); grandfather of Peter, Jr. (Lisa), Emily, Joseph, and Nicholas; great-grandfather of Riley and Kamryn; brother of Betty (Chris) Christ, Thelma (Stephen) Yeonas, Pauline (the late Peter) Ellis and the late Athena (the late George) Talios. The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church (at St. Andrew Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 15100 New Hampshire Avenue, Silver Spring, MD) from 10:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Interment George Washington Cemetery.
