Georgia Moy Woo (Moy Mee Ting), born January 24, 1923, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 17, 2018. She was the beloved wife of 63 years to the late G. Tang Woo; mother of five children, Hong Woo (Linda), Lem Woo (June), Wing Woo, Jo Ann Woo Eng (Benedict), and Henry Woo (Sharla); grandmother of 16 grandchildren, Richard Woo, Barbara Yang (Willson), Steven Woo (Merynn), Michael Woo (Valerie), Elaine Lamirande (Keith), Kevin Woo (Wallace Eddy), Tiffany Eng, Angelica Eng, Melody Eng, Jessica Smith (Jordan), Johnathan Woo (Jessie), Joel Woo (Lauren), Jillian Woo (fiancé Silas Bullock), Jianna Woo, Jarrett Woo, and Jade Woo; great-grandmother of 10 great-grandchildren, Robert Woo, Eric Yang, Trinity Yang, Vivienne Woo, Olivia Woo, Gavin Woo, Grayson Woo, Asher Woo, the late Logan Woo, and Aria Woo; aunt to 10 nephews and nieces; great aunt to many great nieces and great nephews; and great-great aunt to several great-great nieces and great-great nephews.
Visitations were held Monday, March 26, 2018 from 4-8 pm and Tuesday, March 27, 2018 from 9:30 am until the Celebration of Life service at 11 am at Hines-Rinaldi Funeral Home, 11800 New Hampshire Avenue, Silver Spring, MD 20904. Interment service followed at George Washington Cemetery, 9500 Riggs Road, Adelphi, MD 20783. The memorial meal was held at Silver Fountain, 13533 Connecticut Avenue, Silver Spring, MD 20906.
