Beloved wife of the late Barnette Rhetta Holston, Sr. and mother of the late Byron Rhetta, Helen made her peaceful transition on Saturday, August 12, 2023. She is survived by her son, Barnette Rhetta Jr., daughter in law Jessica, granddaughter Cadence Elizabeth (Fern), grandson Nathan Barnette and family friend, Troy Petenbrink. Services will be held at The Peoples Community Baptist Church on Wednesday, August 30th, 2023. Family will receive friends at 10:00 am followed by the NCNW Passing of the Rose Ceremony. Services will begin at 11:00 am. Burial will be at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her honor to the Music Ministry or the Caregivers Ministry at The Peoples’ Community Baptist Church.
