Jamey was born on February 13th 1961 in Tazewell Virginia. He moved to Maryland as a child and spent his life there. Growing up he had a passion for baseball that continued into him playing throughout his adulthood. He worked for Metro Bobcat for many years and changed his career to help run the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aeries 3509 where he was a member. Besides work and sports Jamey loved being a father and Papaw.
Jamey is precede in death by his father George W. Wingo and his brother George Douglas Wingo.
Jamey is survived by his four children Doug Wingo (Kristina Max), Kyle Wingo, Jamie Lee Wingo (Pat Brosenne), and Cody Wingo. Two brothers Jerry Wingo and Gary Wingo, his mother Eula Wingo and his grandson Easton Brosenne.
