Biography

Jianjun “Jane” He, passed away peacefully on February 3rd, 2019 at her home, surrounded by loved ones.
Jane was born on July 11, 1967 in Shihezi, Xinjiang Province in China to He ShouLi and Lü Yun Xiu. She graduated from Beijing Normal University in China in 1990, and earned her MBA from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio. She worked as a CFO for Lucky Dog Industries, where she displayed a wonderful knack for numbers and solving problems, and took great pride in teaching and helping others.
Jane was intelligent and caring, fierce and generous, a natural leader with steadfast values. She knew how to solve any problem, and she knew that she could do it better than anyone else. She was the kind of person who had a clear sense of what she wanted and how she would set about achieving it. When it came to her children, she was endlessly supportive, endearingly blunt, and loving. She raised them to be honest and good above all else, to love and support one another. She loved beautiful flowers and extravagant decorations. She loved dressing up and going out, cooking and eating good food. There was nothing that Jane loved more than putting together a themed room with the help of HomeGoods and Bed Bath and Beyond, or buying clothes for her kids that she knew for a fact were in a taste different from their own. Her taste was best of course. Jane played Chinese songs on the piano and sang Taylor Swift in the car. She played cards with her friends and went through endless sunflower seeds. She painted and danced, did yoga, threw parties. And at the end of the day, she would scroll through her iPad in bed and think about all the things she would do the next.
Jane had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and meaningful way. Jane is survived by her son David Pu and daughter Angela Pu, brothers He JianXin and He JiangSheng, sister He JianHua (Zhang Cunyu), and significant other Wilton Lash. She will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.
