Born on March 26, 1942 in New York City, she was the daughter of Dominick & Mary Romano. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt who showed her love in countless thoughtful ways. She will be remembered for her compassion, generous heart, and warmth, which often were displayed in her passion for cooking and in her creativity in sewing, knitting, and other crafting. But her greatest joy was her family. She deeply loved her large paternal, maternal, and in-law families, holding every relationship close to her heart.
After moving to Maryland, she graduated from St. Patrick's academy in Washington, DC and began her long career as a secretary and administrative assistant. She eventually met the love of her life, Turadj. Together, they built a beautiful life and celebrated 60 cherished years of marriage.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Turadj; her two sons, Aryan (Myra) and Alexander (Jennifer); and her two beloved grandchildren that brought her joy, Nasrin & Dominick. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Marilyn.
Her loving spirit and gentle heart will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
