I'll never forget one night when Ruth and I along with your dad were at the church working on a work project and he was doing his exercises!  I was so impressed at how good he was at it ...so much better than I could have done!  That memory makes me smile I hope it does for you too!

I went to MCCC for 10+ years and had a lot of great memories there.  Pastor Huang guided me and other kids with godly principles.  I still remember his Sunday sermons vividly.  The lunch after service was also great and that carpeted bball gym, lots great memories!!!

Ruth, I’ll never forget the evening I went to church with you and your dad to do some school work and there he was doing exercises with his pulley! He was in great shape! Such a nice and kind man…just like you!

I was blessed to know Pastor Jonah Huang since June, 2015, a short time, but I am grateful that I had the opportunity to know him.  Twice Pastor Huang asked me what I did and I told him I was retired.  Both times he said "There is no retirement."  I do not recall his exact words but the upshot was there is no retirement from serving God.  Both times he said that I told him I knew that and agreed, but both times it was an inspiration to me, and good for me to be reminded.  I used to attend Tuesday morning prayer meetings with him and he was always so warm and eager to pray and to read the Word.  He often requested that we sing, "我必须有主在我生命走” (I Must Have the Lord in My Life"). He certainly did manifest the presence of the Lord in his life!  Even during his last days when he was frail he would be called upon to pray the Benediction and I always savored hearing him pray and we were always blessed when he did.  Often guests would show up at MCCC who had a history of knowing Pastor Huang.  He had many friends and was used by God to bring people together.  He was a pillar in the Church and especially in the Chinese Christian Community in Maryland.  He will be greatly missed.

Sorry to hear hat your dad passed away last Saturday.  I got the news from my daughter tonight.  We feel sad that he left the world on one hand.  But on the other hand we are happy that he lived for a long life and left for heaven so peacefully.  He is such a gentleman whenever I think of him. I‘be been privileged to know Pastor Huang through at home bible studies, prayer meetings with he and his wife, family dinners and many more. I’ve enjoyed spending time on weekends at his home singing his favorite song “He is Lord, He has Risen! And He is Lord!   Although I’m mourning. I do not mourn as those that do not have hope! For I know Pastor Huang has fought a good fight, faithfully finished his course and now is present with the Lord.

Victor, Debbie, Kathy and I are so sad to hear pastor huang passed away.  He is always so kind and lovely.  Spread the gospel all the time and devote all his life to the Lord.  He saves so many people’s life to believe the Lord Jesus Christ.  We families respect pastor Huang.  May he enjoy his life with the Lord in the heaven.

I will never forget watching your dad exercising (in his 80’s ) as Ruth helped me with a paper at his church! He was amazing and you were blessed to have him as your dad.

I remember when I was a kid, we used to play basketball at the church court.  Pastor Huang would always come and see us and welcome all the new comers to come to church to worship.  He was so kind and his smile was so genuine.  He shaped my life from a very early stage and I miss him very much!
