Our deepest condolences to the family.  We met Dr. McAdams as undergraduate students in the McNair program in 1998.  She was a wonderful professor and more importantly a wonderful human being.  She was on my husband’s dissertation committee years later and then came our wedding.  She met our children and we spent time together when she hosted an event in her home.  We are sadden by the news of her passing.
