Dino led an extraordinary life beginning with his journey from Thassos to the United States in 1963. After initially beginning his career in the restaurant business, he then immersed himself into the barber industry. His incredible commitment to hard work was evident as he opened his first barbershop in 1970.
Soon thereafter he expanded his successful venture, “Dino’s Barber & Stylist”, to multiple locations (including Aspen Hill, Olney. Germantown, and Rockville) where he thoroughly enjoyed the relationships he made with his many customers along the way. Dino truly achieved the American Dream as he was able to retire at the age of 47 and split his time between Greece and the USA, indulging in new interests and experiences.
Dino’s dedication extended beyond his professional life, as evidenced by his 60-year marriage to Ellie Siskos, and the close-knit family they built together. In addition to his wonderful wife, his two daughters, Tammy and Georgia (Corey Savelson), and four loving grandchildren, Alyssa (Cody O’Dell), Christopher, Nicholas, and Julia, will cherish and carry on his legacy.
Konstantinos D. Siskos will be remembered for his passion, resilience, success, larger than life personality, and the eternal love he shared with his family.
