She is survived by her beloved children, Lindsay Dunbar and Aisling Dunbar, her parents Kurt and Cynthia Gudenius, and her brothers, Matthew, Jason, Daniel and Brandon Gudenius.
As the only girl in a household of brothers, she could hold her own in any situation. Her picture could be used in the dictionary under the word "feisty".
Kristin was an animal lover from a small child and had numerous small pets and critters throughout her life. She especially loved her two dogs, Rudi and Moby.
She was fun loving and liked to attend concerts, hike, go to trivia nights and garden. She loved art and dabbled in producing paintings of her own.
She surrounded herself with bright colors which was reflected in her home decor including fushia sofas and she was easily recognizable driving her florescent green convertible.
She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland in Animal Science and went on to earn two Masters degrees from the University of Maryland University College. She loved her job as a biologist working for the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
Her time on this earth may have ended too soon, but her spirit will continue through the ones that she loved and the ones that loved her.
