Laidee M. Monteagudo age 91, passed away February 8, 2023 peacefully in her home surrounded by her husband and family. Laidee was born in Jatibonico, Camagüey, Cuba and emigrated to the United States in May of 1970. She was married for 58 wonderful years to her husband, Jesus. She is survived by her daughter, Josephine Emelio, son in law Michael Emelio, sister, Berta Ricardo, and brother, Raul Camino. Laidee was blessed with two loving grandsons, Nicholas and Matthew Emelio. She enjoyed being part of her loving extended family which included many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. She was dearly loved by her family. Laidee made many friends during her career at Geico, at her church St. Camillus, and at the local senior center.
A viewing and mass will be held at 9:00 am and 10:30 am on Monday, February 20th at St. Camillus Church in Silver Spring, MD.
