Obituary for Lisa Jean Smith Lisa Jean Smith – November 10, 1963 – June 25, 2016 Lisa Jean Smith, devoted and loving mother, wife, and neighbor, left this world on June 25, 2016. Her journey began while growing up in Silver Spring, Maryland where she attended Montgomery Blair High School. She followed by attending Oglethorpe University and graduated from American University. She returned to Atlanta and excitedly worked in the underwriting of insurance products for producers in the Atlanta area. In 1988 she met Robert Wesley Smith and they were married in October of 1989. They set up home in Alpharetta, Georgia where their daughter, Rachel, was born in December of 1995. As a devoted homemaker, Lisa shared her loving heart with Rachel and was side by side with her while she grew up. She loved dancing, shopping, vacationing on the beach, and being with friends and family. During her recent sickness, she kept a positive spirit while with her friends and family. She will always be remembered as having a loving heart and will certainly be missed. Other survivors include her mother, Edna Kraft Ehrlich of Silver Spring Maryland; her father, Bernard Ehrlich of Sarasota, Florida; and sisters, Vivian Ehrlich, Brenda Ehrlich, and Beverly Mackereth. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the Hines-Rinaldi Funeral Home, Interment will follow at 1:00 p.m. at King David Memorial Gardens, Falls Church, VA.
