Louise N. Hajjar passed away peacefully on July 7, 2018, at Frederick Memorial Hospital, at the age of 92. She was born in Washington, DC, and was predeceased by her husband of 43 years, Emile Joseph Hajjar, and one brother, Louis Nader. She is survived by two sons, Richard (Kathy) Hajjar of Brookeville, MD, and Robert (Julie) Hajjar of Urbana, MD; and one daughter, Alice Hajjar of Frederick, MD; one brother, James (Cathy) Nader of Silver Spring, MD; one sister, Alice LaMarsh of Silver Spring, MD; one sister-in-law, Edith Nader of Alexandria, VA; seven grandchildren, Mark (Sandy) Hajjar of Sandy Spring, MD, Lee (Melissa) Hajjar of Gaithersburg, MD, Dustin (Erin) Hajjar of New Market, MD, Trevor (Becky) Hajjar of Jefferson, MD, Alicia (Alex) Viehmann of Walkersville, MD, Emily Hajjar of Thurmont, MD, and Garrett Hajjar of Woodsboro, MD; and 11 great-grandchildren, Bella, Jackson, Conley, Riley, Landon, Sawyer, Topper, Emile, Lennon, Leda, and Gannon; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. on Monday, July 9, 2018, at Hines-Rinaldi Funeral Home, 11800 New Hampshire Ave., Silver Spring, MD. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 10, 2018, at Liberty Grove United Methodist Church, 15225 Old Columbia Pike, Burtonsville, MD. Interment will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 10, 2018, at the George Washington Cemetery in Adelphi, MD. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Liberty Grove United Methodist Church, 15225 Old Columbia Pike, Burtonsville, MD, 20866.
