Mac was born on February 9, 1922 in Southwest Virginia. He is survived by his wife of 72 years,
Betty Manley. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his two daughters, Margaret Manley and Patricia Pignataro; two granddaughters, Michelle Clancey (Jesse) and Melissa Boxx (Jonathan);
four great-grand sons, Mason Clancey, Jaxon Clancey, Jonathan Boxx, Jr., and Mac Boxx.
His 99 years were a legacy of devotion to faith, family, and friends. He proudly served his country during World War II in the United States Army.
The family will receive visitors Sunday, January 2 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Hines-Rinaldi Funeral Home, 11800 New Hampshire Ave. Silver Spring, Maryland 20904. A funeral service will be held Monday, January 3 at 11 a.m. with visitation from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Fort Lincoln Cemetery, 3401 Bladensburg Road, Brentwood, Maryland 20722.
