Though your time with us was far too short, the light you shared will continue to shine in our hearts.  Your story does not end here. I pray that your gentle, kind, and sensitive soul be forever held safely in the loving arms of God, who sees past all pain and embraces us fully with mercy and healing.  Under His care, you will have everlasting peace and joy.

I know you loved the Japanese language, and I will always cherish the simple, joyful conversations we shared in it.

Macy was a very sweet little girl and grew up to be so talented, as her drawings show.  We are all saddened by this loss, may she rest in peace, and may the memories of her always give you joy.

Macy painted these pictures of my brother and me as babies and a friend of mine. So talented.

Macy was so talented in so many ways.  She had a heart of gold.  Every time she talked with me she always would check on how my dog or cat was doing and if they were recovering from some ailment.  Her empathy for animals was unmatched.  She was so intelligent and knowledgeable in so many topics.  She had the uncanny ability to remember very specific facts and details about so many different topics.  She will be deeply missed, but since she touched and affected so many people, her memory will continue forever.  Rest in Peace Macy.  My thoughts remain with the Kaplan family.

Macy always helped me in the grocery store and was so smart and she always helped me with the groceries and would look for special things she knew I would like. She always hung around to see if I needed anything. She was very kind to me and I will miss her dearly.

Where should I begin? I have known Macy for a bit shorter than my entire existence. In my eyes, she always has been very gifted, not just in one aspect, but many. A young woman of many skills, despite her not advertising it. Her level of knowledge, skill and precision in her artwork, writing and other things are remarkable and truly impressive. Macy has always been a vital part of my life, her bluntness has been quite amusing and has gotten me out of mental funks several times. Her thoughtfulness through her work and gestures are truly unforgettable. She was, is and always will a blessing.

Your precious  MACY’S  memory will forever remain in our hearts. I am so deeply sorry for the loss of your beloved daughter. Her memories will always be with me, like when I first cut her hair, when she  drew me and gave it to me, it was a very special gift  I will always remember my dear and sweet MACYS. No parent should ever have to experience the pain of losing a child. I am truly grateful to have known your mom when she was carrying you. I cherish every moment and memory we've shared since you were born on February 12, 2001. You will always hold a special place in my heart, and I will miss you dearly. Please know that you are loved and remembered fondly.

Macy,
You were like a daughter to me. I watched you grow. I have many memories of the time we shared together with my Micah and Elijah, going to the pool,  spending time at each other’s houses , your mom cooking her world famous turkey chilli or you and Micah coming over to my house and eating my hamburgers, casseroles, and watching tv with the boys. I pray you are at rest and will forever be at peace.
