

Rev. Dr. Martha Butler Jones leaves this earthly plane celebrating 50 + years of global ministry as a senior pastor of International Kingdom Church in the Greater Washington, D.C. area. Rev. Dr. Jones is well-known for training and serving seekers and believers alike with an emphasis on deliverance ministry, youth advocacy and global missions. Inspired by Ephesians 4:12, her passion was to equip the church for the advancement of the Kingdom of God. A gifted visual artist from an early age, she studied and received certification from the following entities, Manpower Training Center for composition and art layout, Lear Siegler Institution for Fashion Merchandising, and Christian Faith Bible and Church of God Mission International in Lagos, Nigeria. Rev. Dr. Jones founded several churches and organizations such as Christian Faith Centre, International Executive Women Association, and Christian Faith Bible College. She co-founded Dream Television Network and Paradise Radio Network with Rev. Dr. Alvin Augustus Jones. She was preceded in death by her parents Leon and Lola Harmon Butler, four siblings Wesley Buford (Nancy Buford), Ralph Buford, Sarah Buford Maxfield (Jimmy Maxfield), Nellie Robinson (Rudolph Robinson), and her living siblings are Ruth Wilson, Mary Garner (Robert Garner), Ida Butler, and Joseph Butler (Betty Butler). There are a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family whom she dearly loves. Undoubtedly, Rev. Dr. Martha Butler Jones' greatest joy is cultivating the ministry gifts of other women which includes her two natural daughters Rev. Angela Marie Jones, M.Div. and Rev. Alisha Lola Jones, PhD, M.Div. (Rev. Calvin Taylor Skinner).
