MARVIN BERNHARDT GREENFELD On Thursday, January 21, 2016, Marvin Bernhardt Greenfeld of New York City, formerly of Alexandria, VA, died peacefully shortly before his 91st birthday. Devoted husband to the late Renée E. Greenfeld (née Schneider) and to second wife the late Marilyn Bartick (née Kerster). Loving father to Anne M. Greenfeld, Stephen S. Greenfeld and the late Lawrence I. Greenfeld, loving stepfather to Melissa Bartick. He had a long professional career in electrical engineering and management, loved jazz and classical music-he was an outstanding trumpet player-and frequently contributed to dozens of charitable organizations. Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon on Friday, January 29, 2016 at Judean Memorial Gardens Chapel, 16225 Batchellors Forest Rd., Olney, MD. Interment will immediately follow in Judean Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Young Israel Shomrai Emunah, 1132 Arcola Ave., Silver Spring, MD 20902.
