Matthew R. Kundinger

On Monday, December 26, 2016. Beloved husband of Shira Kundinger; loving father of Benjamin Kundinger; cherished brother of Sarah Kundinger; and dear son of Vicki Kundinger and the late Duane Kundinger. Matthew received his Bachelor's degree in history from the University of Michigan and his JD from the University of Texas Law School. He worked as an Attorney at Department of Justice (DOJ). He married Shira Pisner, the love of his life, in 2009 and became the very proud father of Benjamin Rex in 2015. Matthew loved to spend time with his wife and baby, watch University of Michigan football, reading, listening to POD casts, music, and anything history. Family was most important to him, and he was cherished by many family and friends. A gathering will be held at Hines-Rinaldi FH Chapel, 11800 New Hampshire Ave, Silver Spring, MD on Friday, December 30, 2016 from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. with funeral service to start at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to The American Liver Foundation.
