Maurine D Karadimos

She was the wife of the late Angelo Karadimos. She is survived by one of her children, Tina and her husband Perry, and their children Maria & James, his wife Connie, 2 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews. Maurine’s older daughter, Diane, preceded her in death as well as her older brother, Torrence Fisher.

Maurine was born June 16, 1932 in Washington, DC to Harry and Dureda (Sump) Fisher. She grew up in Virginia and graduated from McKinley High School in Washington, DC where she met Angelo. They were married for 52 years. In her high school years, she was very active with cheerleading and roller skating.

She worked for many years as an Administrative Assistant for the Federal Government.

Maurine loved traveling, entertaining, and attending shows. She loved getting together with family and grandchildren. She was also an avid organ player and volunteered playing the organ at several assisted living homes.

Burial and service will take place on Thursday April 2nd at 11:00 AM at Glenwood Cemetery in Washington DC.
