Meichin was born on December 18, 1962 in Taiwan. She grew up in Taipei, married Ted Yang on May 28, 1988 and moved to the U.S. later that year to pursue a Master's Degree in Management Information Systems at UMUC. She worked as an accountant for the University System of Maryland for over 30 years.
Meichin was a loving wife, mother, sister, and friend to many. She loved cooking, hosting friends, singing, MCing, teaching children, painting, and serving the church and community. She was known by others to be caring, generous, and full of life. Many will miss her presence in their lives.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 31 at 2pm at 9618 Autoville Dr, College Park, MD 20740.
