On Saturday, December 20th, 2025, Norma Burdett, of Silver Spring MD, Beloved Wife of the late Melvin Burdett; Devoted mother of Ira Starr (Alyssa Starr), and Stacy Burdett (Tom Diaz) and predeceased by her daughter Helene Burdett Riffle (David Riffle); Beloved sister of Shoshana Kugler, and predeceased by her siblings Sol Levinson and Judith Rosenbaum; Cherished grandmother of Sarina Godin (Melinda Godin), Gabriel Godin (Anna Gallof Godin), Adam Diaz, Isaac Starr, Teo Starr, and predeceased by her granddaughter Shira Bernstein; Cherished great-grandmother of Carter Mendel Godin, Everly Malka Godin, Jack Moshe Godin, Meyer Levi Godin, and Esther Sylvie Godin. Services will be held on Monday, December 22nd, at 12:30 at Chabad of Silver Spring, interment to follow at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery at 2PM. Contributions may be made to the Capital Jewish Museum and Chabad of Silver Spring.
