To the woman my oldest daughter is named after your council in life and business is missed.

I was so saddened to hear about the passing of Pearl, and very sorry that I was not able to attend her viewing or funeral service. She was a truly wonderful lady, mother, grandmother and friend to many, including myself.  Pearl was always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need and was selfless of her time, never asking for anything in return. Throughout the years of knowing her, she came to my rescue on a few occasions. I will never forget the compassion and kindness she extended to myself and my children. She was an amazing woman whom I admired greatly. I will carry fond memories of her in my heart and wish her family love and prayers during this sad time! Heaven truly received another angel. RIP Pearl!

When I joined the Montgomery County Ombudsman program, Mrs. Hunt was the first person who asked me "Where are you from" I told her I am from Sierra Leone a small country on the West Coast of Africa. She didn't mind when I gave her a short geography lesson about Africa and my country Sierra Leone and she was very impressed. She asked me "why are you interested in this program" I told her, I like to help people. She said " This is a good program; with time you will like it. One of the good things about the program is you will meet people and with time you get to know them and their family."  Mrs. Hunt and Mr. John encouraged me to stay with the program and they always told me "If you have any problem feel free to contact us" that I will never forget. Mrs. Hunt was a very nice person and she will be sorely missed. May Her Soul Rest in Peace.
