Robert Edward Dolphin, 79, of Brookeville, Maryland, passed away on August 31, 2026. Born in Utica, New York, Bob was a proud New Yorker throughout his life and a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother.
Bob was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Linda Dolphin, as well as his brother, Kevin Dolphin, and sister, Adeline Karen Gilmartin.
He is survived by his children, Jason Dolphin, Jonathan Speert and his wife, Alice Litsinger, and Heather Klein and her husband, Zack Klein. Bob is also survived by two grandchildren, Will and Elle Klein.
Funeral services will be held at Norbeck Memorial Park in Olney, Maryland on September 4th, 2026 at 10AM.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in Bob’s memory to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, an organization that was meaningful to him.
